Hi everyone! I’m so tempted to use florals again this week but I wanted to dive into another new set this month that I have not touched yet. Hi everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. Before a new week of new crafty projects, I thought I’d share with you a technique that you could try out today or during the new week.  Part 1 : Creating the Background.  I’ve stamped and heat embossed the new background stamp, Wild Waters on to my watercolour paper. Next, I used the blue painter’s tape to masked off a narrow clean border. I took Peeled Paint & Broken China Distress Ink to colour in my “sea”.  P.S : I would…Continue Reading “Create A Smile – Mirror Stamping Technique”

Hey all! How is everyone? I’m actually in the Philippines now and on my last night here. I’m flying home tomorrow. Today, I’ve made a set of 3 cards. Only using Create A Smile Washi Tapes & Sentiment Stamp set. The rest of the things I needed was my choice of cardbase (kraft cardstock), versamark ink & embossing powder, acrylic block for stamping. Very basic! They are really easy and you can create ANY kind of patterns you like. For my set, what I did was ..  Step 1 : Cutting my papers as my top layer (not the cardbase).  Step 2 : With the help of my cutting mat,…Continue Reading “Create A Smile Stamps – Washi Tape Card Set”

Hellooo everyone! Today, I’m sharing with you a card full of floral but a touch of simplicity to it. I stamped out the smaller flowers using Ranger Archival black ink because it’s waterproof on watercolour paper. I’m chosen to use Distress Markers because these are just small images and these markers would do just fine.  I’m not doing anything fancy with the colouring. I’ve basically used the markers to shade on the darkest part of the flower. Then, I took my waterbrush to pull out…Continue Reading “Create A Smile Stamps – Florals”
