Made With Love – Same Dies Different Technique

Hi everyone! I’m excited to show you some cards I’ve made for the Made With Love Design Team. Made With Love is a craft store in Singapore. If you’re living in Singapore, drop by the store! It’s at a mall called Somerset 313. All products showcased are available at the Made With Love store.
Ever felt overwhelmed with all the new products and you’re not sure which one to get? Well, I usually try to think if there’s are at least 4 different designs / techniques I can use before buying the product. So here are 4 sample ways you can try with just one simple die called Flower Border from Lawn Fawn.
Card #1
Let’s start with the obvious and using it just the way it is 🙂 I die-cut it three times as you can see below and colour it with my Prima Watercolour in my favourite rainbow. I’ve flipped the middle part around so that the hill will go down the other way.
Card #2
Now, let’s snip those flowers off individually 🙂 I’ve stuck them all one by one on these circles to create some kind of pop-up embellishment. I thought of leaving of it white on white but I just cannot put down my paint brush.

Card #3
Still snipping off the flowers, I thought I’d keep it simple this time and use it as it is. A simple distress look at the bottom with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink and arrange the flowers like as if it’s falling down.
Card #4
I really like this idea but I’m not sure if I’m satisfied with how the card look but I’m going to share this anyway. I used the “outer” layer of the border die to use it as a stensil and use my distress ink over it.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my cards and perhaps give some of the techniques a try!

Till next time!
