Made With Love – Christmas Cards with Patterned Papers

Hi everyone! I’m excited to show you some cards I’ve made for the Made With Love Design Team. Made With Love is a craft store in Singapore. If you’re living in Singapore, drop by the store! It’s at a mall called Somerset 313. All products showcased are available at the Made With Love store.
Today, I will be sharing some Christmas Cards ideas just in case you need some quick inspiration for some last minutes days. All the patterned papers (unless stated) in this post are from a paper pad by Kaisercraft (Christmas Wishes). This is a great pack with beautiful pastel colour theme and even pre-cut embellishments to add to your cards.
Card #1
This first part is a bunch of 4 cards. I just want to share briefly how anyone (crafter or not) can make a batch of cards for this festive season (you can also do this for other occasions of course). So I’ve picked out 4 patterned paper from the pack and cut them all to fit the card base, leaving a thin white border.

Next, I’ve used 4 the pre-cut, to use as sentiments on the cards. All that is for embellishments are enamel dots from various sets. For one paper pack you can make quite a lot of cards and all you need are just glue, paper pack, card base and enamel dots (optional). Simple as that. Here are the 4 cards I’ve made for this :

 Card #2

For the next card, I did a little paper quilting. I’ve cut strips of 5 paper and stick them all down on a regular piece of paper before using dimensional sticker to stick it onto my kraft card base. I took advantage of the pre-cut sentiments to create a little bauble with a little twine  attached to it. Finished it off with sparkly enamel dots from Prima Marketing.

 Card #3

The next card is possible my favourite. I’ve die-cut that fake gold wreath you see there from a peace sign die from Sizzix Thinlits Festival Die Set. From the photo below, on the right is the actual die-cut. So what I’ve done is cut off the middle bits and then you’ll get something like the one of the left and I could use it as a wreath. I’ve just embossed it with Ranger sparkly gold embossing powder.

Stuck down 2 patterned paper and the little tag is also a pre-cut from the paper pack. As always, I’ve finished it with those beautiful enamel dots from Prima Marketing.

 Card #4

This last card is a little different from the rest. Firstly, I’ve just stamped Avery Elle Stockings image all over the cardstock with Versamark and embossed it with white. In this a way you can make your own “patterned paper” with stamps.
Simply, I’ve just added a Lawn Fawn patterned paper at the back and use a Lawn Fawn stamp for a sentiment. Besides using enamel dots as embellishments, I’ve used stickles from Ranger.

I hope you’ve enjoy these cards and till next time!
